Medium-range model guidance is in general agreement in depicting a mid-level trough over the Great Lakes on Wednesday (day 4) and into the Northeast on Thursday (day 5). Convective coverage and intensity remain unclear in the Great Lakes/OH Valley on Wednesday. Models are showing a fairly moist/unstable boundary layer over the Northeast on Thursday coincident with the mid-level trough passage.
