The ongoing forecast remains on track with isolated thunderstorms possible in the vicinity of the Cascades this evening/overnight. Morning water vapor imagery shows a large upper low off the OR/CA coast. This feature will track eastward through the day, with the exit region of an associated mid-level speed max moving into parts of WA/OR. Increasing large scale lift and cooling temperatures aloft will promote the development of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms after dark over western OR and along the Cascades.
