Isolated thunderstorms may affect parts of the northern Great Basin
and Intermountain region today, into the central Rockies.
No changes were made from the previous outlook. Isolated, non-severe
thunderstorms remain possible later today across parts of the
Intermountain West as cooling aloft with an upper trough coincides
with daytime heating.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and
evening over parts of the northern Intermountain region today. Cold
temperatures aloft, coupled with broad and weak large-scale forcing
for ascent and marginal instability will support this potential. A
few minor adjustments were made to the area, depicting areas most
likely to see greater coverage of convection.
