Organized severe thunderstorms are not forecast across the contiguous United States on Monday. ...Synopsis... A weak large-scale mid-level trough will be situated over the Great Lakes southwestward into the Ozarks on Monday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop from the lower MS Valley north into the OH Valley and eastward to the Atlantic coast. Relatively poor/meager lapse rates will limit destabilization despite moist low levels. Farther west, a mid-level low to the west of southern CA/Baja will favor episodic isolated to widely scattered showers/thunderstorms.
