The risk for severe thunderstorms appears negligible across the U.S. through tonight. ...Synopsis... A few weak thunderstorms are possible from northern Texas into southern Oklahoma tonight in an area of weak isentropic ascent. Weak lake effect convection across Lake Superior and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will continue into the overnight hours. However, these showers have not shown any evidence of lightning thus far, and the environment will become increasingly less favorable through the overnight period.
