Strong to isolated severe downburst winds remain possible over parts of interior Oregon early this evening. ...Oregon... Scattered high-based convection has developed across much of interior Oregon late this afternoon as surface temperatures warmed into the lower 90s. Much of this activity is based above 3km AGL, with 50F+ temperature-dew point spreads at the surface. While PW values are not that high (~.75 inch), gusty winds may accompany the longer-lived thunderstorms for the next few hours, that generate more substantial precipitation.
