Only minor changes have been made to the Marginal and Slight risk area across portions of southeast MT based on current convective trends. Ongoing clusters of strong to severe storms across northeast MT and western ND are producing damaging winds and hail. This activity will persist for several more hours. Additional development is occurring further south along the dryline/surface trough across western WY into western SD. This activity will pose a threat for isolated strong gusts and large hail. For short-term severe potential for these areas, reference MCDs 890 and 891. ...Lower MS/OH Valley vicinity and Northeast States... Severe potential has rapidly diminished this evening with loss of daytime heating and increasing low level inhibition. Severe probs have been removed from these areas as a result. A couple of strong storms could produce gusty winds for another hour two across parts of the Mid-South, but severe winds are not expected. ..Leitman.. 06/09/2021 Read more LIVE: spc.noaa.gov
