.BANDS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL AFFECT AREAS ALONG AND NORTH
OF INTERSTATE 80 JUST PRIOR TO AND DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE.
VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN A MILE AT TIMES AND SNOW
ACCUMULATION RATES OF AROUND A HALF INCH PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED FOR

LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL MOVE ACROSS AREAS MAINLY ALONG AND
NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE...THEN SPREAD
SOUTHWARD INTO MIDDAY. TRAVEL DELAYS ARE LIKELY. SNOW WILL
DECREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY DURING THE AFTERNOON.

LOCALIZED RIVER FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG PORTIONS OF THE
ILLINOIS AND KANKAKEE RIVERS. THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF
LOCALIZED FLOODING DUE TO ICE JAMS.
